Augmented reality application
MOZI team has finished a new project in the sphere of augmented reality. Augmented reality is a type of virtual reality that aims to create a system with a combination of the real and virtual world. Abroad it has become very common to use this technology in different spheres.
The client needed an app that based on the history of a popular ship and its 3D model. Our team was responsible for creating an app which is another step to the virtual world. Using this app visitor also can explore the ship.
This application is for all visitors of the exhibition, including those who are unable to visit the exhibition or the lower decks. A variety of virtual techniques are available for visitors to access hard-to-reach parts of the ship, such as remote cameras and augmented reality interactive as well as multi-sensory, tactile models and displays. So, if you’re at the exhibition you can simply use the target on the plinth next to the shop to trigger the 3D model.
- You can download and print the trigger image, or use a phone, tablet or computer screen with the target image displayed to view your own 3D model of HMS Caroline whenever and wherever you want
- HMS Caroline’s virtual access suite is a comfortable, contemporary space where you can be drawn to the history of the ship
- HMS Caroline Augmented Reality can be used on the following smartphones or tablets: IOS: iPhone 4S, iPhone 5/5S, iPhone 6/6S, iPod Touch 5th generation, iPad 2 – 4, iPad mini, iPad Air. Android:
